Bookends & Beans opened in April 2002, two months before owners Jason & Carrie Duranceau were married.

They remodeled the ground level of a beautiful brick house, redecorating it with carefully selected antiques.
A fireplace area with an antique mantle and a leather sofa and chair provide the perfect place to browse a book before purchasing it.
Several tables in another room of the building provide a place to enjoy a cup of coffee while sharing a conversation with a friend.
